Q: What dates are available to rent Magnolia Manor?

A: Call 717.829.7496  or email MagnoliaManorOffice@gmail.com to validate if your desired date is available. The Barn is available for rental  year-round, 7 days a week. Dates are confirmed with a signed contract and non-refundable deposit. No dates will be guaranteed verbally.

 

Q: What type of events are ideal for the Barn venue space?

A: The Barn venue is great for any occasion from a small gathering up to 150 guests: Wedding receptions, Family

reunions, Graduation parties, Holiday parties, Corporate training, Line dancing lessons, Bridal showers, Birthday

parties, New Year’s Eve parties, Craft events, Banquets, Company parties….and so many other occasions, too!

 

Q: What is the rental fee and what is included?

A: The "all day" rental fee is currently $5,100* and includes use of the Barn from 9am to 10pm, up to 20 tables, up to 150 chairs, 20 white or ivory linen tablecloths, ceremony arbor, podium and chairs, 500lbs ice, bridal ready space and use of the grounds.

We also offer a 4 hour rental which is $2.500. Additional hours are $500 per hour.  (Time includes set-up and tear-down)

COMING SPRING OF 2021:  A smaller space with a lower price point perfect for bridal/baby showers, birthday parties or other smaller events. Email magnoliamanoroffice@gmail.com for more information! 

 

Q: Are discounts available when securing multiple dates in a calendar year? (Corp meetings, Training, Church Services, etc)

A: Yes, call to discuss options. If you are looking for multiple dates in one calendar year, we can customize pricing

based on volume of days needed. (Examples: One week rental consecutive days or multiple days spread over year)

 

Q: Do specific vendors need to be used with rental of the Barn venue? Is pot-luck/carry-in allowed?

A: Clients may use vendors like caterer, bartender, servers, décor, DJ/Band services of choice as long as they carry the required

insurance ($1M liability) & certifications (SafeServe for food, RAMP for Bartending). Magnolia Manor can provide vendor

recommendations if needed. Food preparation must take place off-site. Service area is not equipped with full-kitchen

capabilities. Pot-luck/carry-in is allowed only with proof of event insurance policy.

 

Q: Is alcohol allowed to be served/consumed during events held at Magnolia Manor?

A: Yes, Alcohol is allowed as long as it is provided by the client and the Bartender is licensed and RAMP certified.

Magnolia Manor does not have a liquor license, therefore, alcohol cannot be bought or sold onsite. (No cash bar allowed.)

 

Q: Can we hold a wedding ceremony onsite with the rental of the Barn?

A: Yes. Ceremonies may be held outdoors in various locations on the grounds or depending on the size of the party, inside the Barn.  For Summer 2021 dates and beyond, the lower barn will also be available (or for use in case of inclement weather).  

 

Q: When renting the Barn venue, must I carry an “event policy” on my homeowners/renters insurance?

A: Yes, proof of insurance naming Magnolia Manor as additional insured is required with rental. ($100 will be

deducted from rental fee upon proof of insurance)

 

Q: How do I schedule a tour of the venue?

A: Call 717.829.7496 and schedule a tour. We can offer tours when there is not an event taking place.
